Murata developed a multistack kit for low-power wide area network (LPWAN) applications.

Together with technology partner Sentinum GmbH Murata developed a multistack kit for low-power wide area network (LPWAN) applications.

Yamori is highly reliable, has a long transmission range and is built to last for over 10 years. The longevity and low power consumption of Yamori leads to enormous energy savings by using less electronics parts than its predecessors.

With this kit, experiencing and realizing LPWAN technologies has now been made super easy, integrating state-of-the-art Murata products like RF modules, Microbatteries, Sensors, RF antenna design and Sentinum‘s Product development capabilities, Yamori is the ideal platform for realizing your smart city solutions.

The following RF and cellular protocols were used;

LoRa, NB-IoT, Cat M1 (LTE-M) and voice over LTE (VoLTE). In addition, NFC connectivity and GNSS functionality are also encompassed and Sigfox and MIOTY can be supported by a simple firmware upgrade.

Modules used in Yamori

LBAA0QB1SJ LoRa module (Type 1SJ)LBAD0XX1SC cellular module (Type 1SC)

Batteries used in Yamori

Lithium coin battery (CR3677X)Small Li-ion secondary battery (CT04120)
